Dainty Doll - Nicola Roberts Blusher Review

I did a Fragrance Direct Haul about a month back and promised a review of my Dainty Doll items so here it is!
These are the two powder blushers I purchased in the colours 'My Girl' and 'You Are My Sunshine'. They're both gorgeous colours and as I'm ridiculously pale, I loved the idea that these colours were put together with specifically pale people in mind so therefore should compliment my skin tone! Both colours are pretty scary looking. 'My Girl' is a bright glittery pink and 'You Are My Sunshine' is a really sparkly reddish, bronze colour!

Here are both blushers swatched with 'My Girl' on the left and 'You Are My Sunshine' on the right. As you can see, they are really pigmented, not like those blushers that you have to swirl your brush in for a good five minutes before you get any colour whatsoever!
And again with the flash. All in all, I love these blushers and have been going between the two since I bought them a month ago. They are extremely pigmented so it's easy to be a bit too heavy handed and end up looking like a clown but that's simply something you just have to learn to adjust to. I think I prefer 'My Girl' as it's a pretty pink that I think you can tell in the picture above goes with my skin tone a lot better. At the moment I'm not really sure I can pull of the bronzier tones of 'You Are My Sunshine' and it is SO sparkly. You definitely don't need highlighter with either of these at the risk of looking super shiny. They also last all day which is pretty amazing. I can get home after being out all day and my blusher still looks like I did when I put it on or maybe even slightly better because I think these do look a bit better when faded slightly and so are less abrupt! I defintely recommend them, especially at the bargain price of £1.99 instead of £13.50!

Cath Kidston Haul

I didn't understand people's love of Cath Kidston until recently but now I adore shabby chic things and I'd quite happily own anything Cath Kidston because I just love the girly, floral designs. Look how cute the packaging is!!
I only really needed a camera case but when there's a matching phone case and key fob reduced too how am I supposed to resist?! They're all in the Tiny Rose pattern which is blue with pink, red, yellow and white flowers.
I don't own a camera case but with two holidays booked for this summer, my camera will be carried around in my bag a lot along with things like drinks and keys so I thought this would give added protection and the floral print is so summery, perfect for holidays! It has a long strap tucked inside so you can wear it around your neck which is handy! This was only £4 (from £8) which I think is a REALLY good bargain!
I also picked up the blackberry case for £6 (from £12). This is one that you take your phone in and out of so I'm a bit worried that I'll get fed up of fiddling around with it and not use it but again, it's nice to have some added protection when it's rolling around in my bag!
Finally, I got the matching key fob which was only £3 (from £4.50). It is pretty huge but if that means I can actually find my keys instead of fumbling around for five minutes, it's £3 well spent!!

 I'm also lusting after...

Spring Primark Haul inc sale

How gorgeous is this deep blue skater dress with a criss cross back?! I absolutely fell in love with it and so picked it up despite the fact that I never wear dresses! It was £10 which is quite a bargain!
I've wanted this hoody for a while now because I love the acid wash, casual look and I have a thing for studs at the moment so when I saw it was reduced to £5 I couldn't help myself! It's quite possibly my favourite thing ever, it's SO comfy. I've also been eyeing up this acid wash dip hem dress but didn't get it because I wasn't sure about the gems but with this reduced to £5 too, I couldn't help myself.
I got this mint jumper a few weeks ago so don't remember how much it cost but it's the perfect spring colour and this floral blouse was only £3 and it's such a nice fit. It's slightly cropped and reminds me a bit of my nan but even so, I love it!
I'm sure you've seen these everywhere but I got the black boyfriend fit crop top for £4 and also this marl cocoon cardigan for only £3!! Overall, I'm so impressed with the bargains I've picked up over the last few days!
